Are pedorthic services covered by OHIP?
No. Pedorthic Services are not covered by OHIP but may be covered by your extended medical health care plan at work.

If there is coverage from extended medical health care plan(s), what is the process
The patient requires a written referral (prescription) with the medical condition from a medical doctor. Once the patient has paid the bill in full, the original receipt and the original referral can be sent by the patient to the extended medical health care plan for reimbursement.
