Physiotherapy is a health care profession focussing on evaluating, restoring, and maintaining physical function.
What is a Physiotherapist
A Physiotherapist is an individual who is university educated and is trained to assess and improve movement and function and also relieve pain. A Physiotherapist must be licensed by the regulatory board (often referred to as The College of Physiotherapists)

How long will the appointment take?

Physiotherapy is a direct-access health care profession meaning that you don't need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist. Most insurance companies however, require a doctor's referral (check with your specific extended health care plan). Physiotherapy services at Wallis & Associates are offered privately and are therefore not covered by OHIP.
You can expect a detailed health history, a detailed assessment of the particular area of concern, a personalized treatment plan which may include manual therapy, modalities, home exercises, posture training, education, and your questions and concerned addressed.
