MIND, EYE, BODY!
Another amazing afternoon collaborating with Dr. Teske and Associates!
Working alongside a holistic optometrist has been inspiring!
We continue to learn from one another but more importantly we are thrilled to witness the positive outcomes that we can achieve for our patients as we work together with them at the centre!
Today I had fun learning about the connection between our pupils and our bodies!
Check me out in Dr Caroline Teske’s exam room using her light to check my pupils reaction!
Did you know......
The nervous system is responsible for pupil, brain and body function.
Your pupil’s response to light can be an indicator for what Is happening in the brain and the body!
When your nervous system is out of balance (sympathetic overdrive) your pupils reaction to light is abnormal!
The great news is that my pupils were doing what they are supposed to!!
A win for all of the tools I use to help support my nervous system! ... See MoreSee Less
