Naturopathic Medicine
Naturopathic medicine is a comprehensive and natural approach to improving health and treating illness. It is a distinct profession of primary health care providers who emphasize preventative medicine and the promotion of optimal health through patient-centred education and individualized treatment.

The primary goal of naturopathic medicine is to address the cause of illness, rather than simply treat or suppress symptoms. Naturopathic doctors (ND’s) view their patients from a holistic perspective and therefore consider the emotional, spiritual, mental and physical aspects of a person when diagnosing and developing a treatment plan.

If necessary, a complaint-oriented physical exam is performed and an individualized treatment plan is created to best address your health goals.

Corporate Wellness
A corporate wellness program should serve to improve both employee well-being and corporate bottom lines. Adding naturopathic principles and philosophies to the mix could help to increase the benefits of such a program. Some examples include:
  • Stress Management
  • Pain Management/Postural Education
  • Preventative Health Care
  • Nutritional Education
  • Mental Health Care (anxiety, depression, etc.)

Incorporating these principles could have the following effects:

  • Increased employee productivity
  • Decreased absenteeism/sick time
  • Improved morale and employee satisfaction
  • Decreased drug costs
