A pedorthist is an individual trained in the assessment, design, manufacture and modification of custom-made foot orthotics and the clinical fitting and modification of footwear.

Custom-made foot orthotics can help to:
- alleviate painful or debilitating conditions of the lower limb
- improve balance
- accommodate foot deformities that are inherited or as a result from an injury
Services available include:
- an in-depth clinical assessment
- a biomechanical gait analysis
- footwear evaluation, education and recommendation(s) appropriate to your biomechanical and lifestyle needs
- create a 3-dimensional cast of your feet if orthotics are required
- footwear modifications
Custom-made foot orthotics and properly selected footwear can be used to treat a variety of conditions and deformities that affect the lower limb, including:
