Avdeep Bahra BSc, MSc (OT)
Avdeep has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Masters in Occupational Therapy. She is trained in mindfulness, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), hypnosis and various other healing modalities.
Avdeep helps her clients work through self-confidence problems, feelings of loneliness, unworthiness, guilt or perfectionism, amongst other emotional issues.
Avdeep creates a safe and non-judgmental space for you to be heard, supported and for healing to occur. Her calm and warm presence allows you to feel at ease.
Through her personal journey and in working with clients, she has seen that as you give and give of yourself to others, whether as a parent, partner, friend, or employee – one becomes overwhelmed and exhausted. Layer on top of that the inability to ask for help, to feel your emotions and to put your own self-care needs first – you become physically, energetically and spiritually depleted.
From this place of understanding, she enables you to release limiting thoughts, feelings and beliefs and in turn, make positive shifts in your life. She guides you to practice self-care and self-compassion, and to reconnect with your spirit. She is truly passionate about helping you at a deeper, spiritual level in your healing journey.
Avdeep is always excited to share that the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy (CAOT) views spirit as the core of who you are. In fact, the CAOT defines spirit as the “energy or life force that permeates all living things”.
Avdeep currently offers one-on-one appointments (in person or via Skype) and weekly mindfulness and meditation classes to her clients.
