Randi Young, M.S.W., R.S.W
Randi Young is a highly experienced social worker/psychotherapist whose calling has been to help individuals, couples, and families feel they can tell their stories and find a path to improvement in their lives. With a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Toronto, she has considerable experience working with clients presenting with varying issues and coming from diverse backgrounds. Her goal is to ensure that clients drive their counselling/therapy using a collaborative approach that engages people in their treatment and in determining their path. Her expertise lies in helping those struggling with family conflict, teen issues, separation and divorce, grief, relationship issues, managing anxiety, depression, substance abuse, eating disorders, as well as other significant life challenges and transitions.
Randi Young has appeared as a parenting coach on City TV’s Cityline with Marilyn Denis, Slice Network, Rogers Television, and Newstalk 1010. She has written magazine articles focused on parenting issues and was the creator of a parenting course called “Partners in Parenting.” She also reflects on her personal experiences as a mother of two daughters.
