Lisa Blanden BSc Kin, R.M.T.
Registered Massage Therapist
Lisa attended the University of Waterloo where she completed her Bachelor of Science in the Honours Kinesiology program and specialized in Sports Medicine studies. She also attended the Canadian Therapeutic College where she completed the Massage Therapy and Hydrotherapy program with Honours in 2005. Lisa has continued to complete many additional courses relating to her practice including becoming a Certified Infant Massage Instructor.
Lisa has worked as a Kinesiologist in the physical rehabilitation setting for more than a decade and has been practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist since 2005. She has extensive experience working with both elite athletes and “weekend warriors”, in addition to her passion for working with families and their infants and young children.
Lisa is the former captain of the Women’s Canadian National Karate Team and former National and Pan American Karate Champion which has taken her to six continents around the world representing Canada and winning her dozens of national and international titles.
